Beeches Extension

We were asked us to help modernise this well built but out dated dwelling. The client indentified their main concern as the dark living spaces that were inward focused and turned their back on the sites large garden.

We addressed the concerns by adding a simple rectangular box to the rear of the dwelling. The cramped kitchen and living spaces were moved into this new additional space. Significant sections of the new external walls were glazed allowing the client to enjoy a bright and spacious open plan living quarters that also connects visually to the sizable garden space present to the rear.
