Clongriffin

This is an ongoing and exciting residential project in the growing suburb of Clongriffin. The site is located next to the wonderful Fr. Collins Park amenity. Our client challenged us to create a new residential development that would meet the criteria of modern life in the growing Dublin City suburbs. MMA will be leading the delivery of this project in Level 2 BIM.

The proposal aims to foster interaction between residents, creating a sense of welcome and community. Open avenues and pathways through the site between buildings, draw the wider Clongriffin community into the open spaces. The footprint of the design reflects the pattern of development in the area by breaking up the buildings, rejecting the large monolithic apartment blocks which can be overbearing. Visually the buildings are striking in their simplicity, with use of a minimal palette of quality materials to compliment each other and their surroundings. A focal point building on the junction of Park Avenue to the West and Park Terrace South provides a visual marker for both the development and the area when viewed from Fr. Collins Park.
